Kennedy, John F. (1917 – 1963)

An excellent signed and inscribed matte-finish 10.5″ x 13.5″ portrait photograph by John F. Kennedy, signed and inscribed in the lower border in fountain pen, ‘For Ezra Glaser — with every good wish, John Kennedy’. In very fine condition. A superb example.

The recipient, Ezra Glaser (1913-2010), was a lifelong senior-level employee in government service who served as a statistician in the U.S. National Recovery Administration, National Resources Planning Board, and the Navy Department, amongst others. In 1962, Glaser was appointed as the Assistant Commissioner of Patents, which was very likely when Kennedy presented him with this photograph.
