Karsh, Yousuf (1908 – 2002)

A first day cover with a cachet honoring Winston Churchill, signed in fountain pen, ‘Yousuf Karsh’. The affixed five-cent stamp was designed by Richard Hurd using a 1941 photograph by Yousuf Karsh. In fine condition, with some old mailing label residue below the signature.
