West, Rebecca (1892 – 1983)

A typed letter signed by Rebecca West, 31st January 1967.

The author writes to Cadness Page, in part, ‘I do not know that my membership of the Order of St. Sava is very interesting to the general public. I did not do ambulance work in Serbia during the first world war as I was only twenty when the ambulance work was carried on, but I did write a book called Black Lamb and Grey Falcon which is a history of Yugoslavia.’
