Description
Wallace, Henry A. (1888 – 1965)
A signed autograph statement by the U.S. Vice President on an 8″ X 8″ sheet. He writes, in full, ‘The same terrible concerning which Dr. Benes spoke in 1939 still continues. The cure is still the same. We must find on the highest possible level a formula to unite the Slavic, the Latin and the Anglo Saxon worlds for peace – for a peace which will be not passive but something virile and fiery on behalf of the common man everywhere.’ Boldly signed and dated April 17th 1947.
Small tear to the right edge, with some creasing and age-toning to same edge, otherwise in fine condition.
