A good typed letter signed by Thatcher, 5th December 1990, to Felicity Story. Writing just a week after her dramatic resignation, she thanks her correspondent for her ‘kind and generous message,’ noting, ‘It has given  me great strength and encouragement during these difficult days. I most earnestly hope that the things I have tried to do for Britain will continue. That matters for me more than anything else.’ Letter folds, otherwise in fine condition.
