Spencer, Stanley (1891 – 1959)

A signed and inscribed First Edition hardback copy of Stanley Spencer by Elizabeth Rothenstein (Phaidon Press, Oxford and London, 1945). Spencer has signed in bold fountain pen ink to the first blank page, adding the date, June 19th 1950, and ‘Cookham, Berks’. Some age-toning, with a small  Foyles sticker and a stain to the inside front cover, otherwise in fine condition.
