A typed letter signed by Pope John Paul II, ‘Jan Pavel II’.

Dated 24th July 1995, and written in Polish to Dr. Grazyna Piekarska, the pope writes in full, ‘Dear Doctor, Thank you for the letter referring to my last visit to Poland and to those matters that require fervent prayers for our homeland and for the whole world. The Virgin Mary is with us, believe! I also recommend the lady to her patron and send gratitude for remembering me in her prayers. bless you, bless you, Jan Pavel II.’

In very fine condition. Letters signed by John Paul II as pope are extremely rare.
