Picasso, Pablo (1881 – 1973)

A fine one-page autograph letter signed by Pablo Picasso, ‘Picasso’, May 11th 1950. The artist writes to ‘my dear Max’ on a large sheet of paper. He opens by noting that he has ‘already sent a contributor from Cannes in response to your letter.’ He goes on, ‘Regarding the Swiss money, that’s for the paintings that I’ve sold (two big paintings).’ He closes by wishing his correspondent a good trip to Pouless. Very boldly written throughout. Letter folds, otherwise in very fine condition.
