Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller autograph record on their wedding day

Monroe, Marilyn (1926 – 1962) & Miller, Arthur (1915 – 2005)

Monroe and Miller sign a record to their Rabbi, on the day of their wedding!
The jacket only (disc missing) of Arthur Miller’s record album titled “Arthur Miller Reading from The Crucible and Death of a Salesman”, signed to the reverse in blue ballpoint pen by the playwright, “For Bob Goldberg, with my every thanks for a beautiful wedding on July 1, 1956, Arthur Miller” and additionally signed by his new bride who signs “Marilyn Monroe Miller” (quite likely the first time she ever signed her name this way).
The signee, ‘Bob Goldberg,’ was Rabbi Robert Goldberg who performed the religious ceremony for the couple two days after they were legally married in a civil service on June 29, 1956. Nicely housed in a specially-made black cloth display case with gold embossing on the cover reading “Marilyn Monroe / Arthur Miller.” In fine condition. An exceptional item.
