Miro, Joan (1883 – 1983)
A good early two-page autograph letter signed by Joan Miro, ‘Miro’. Dated 29th June 1935 from Paris, the artist writes on both sides of a single sheet, in French.
In part, ‘Thank you for the interest you took in finding me a room, which is quite difficult at the moment.’ Leaving Paris for Brussels, the artist asks his correspondent to find him a room in a hotel there. ‘Also, could you write me a note indicating the address of the hotel, so that I can leave my case there upon arrival in Brussels, and go immediately to the exhibition. If you don’t mind, I could come to you in the evening…’
In fine condition.
