Description
Kokoschka, Oskar (1886 – 1980)
‘Craft as the basis of education’
A superb, large original ink drawing by Oskar Kokoschka. Accomplished on an approximately 7.5″ X 9″ sheet, the artist has drawn a figure in profile (very likely the artist himself) reading a book. He has written beside it, in German, ‘Craft as the basis of education — intuition instead of deception’. In very fine condition. Scarce and desirable in this format.
