Koestler, Arthur (1905 – 1983)

An archive of ten typed letters signed by Koestler, ranging from November 10th 1978 to September 21st 1980. The author writes to his editor, a Mr. Reif, variously thanking him for editing and transcribing his work, referring to his works (including Reflections of Hanging and The Challenge of Chance), refusing an interview with Der Stern and suggesting a title for an essay volume (‘I quite like Rebellion in a Vaccuum‘). In fine condition, and together with two  letters to Mr. Reif from Koestler’s wife Cynthia.
