Kennedy, John F. (1917 – 1963)

An approximately 5.5″ X 6.5″ page cut from a Limited Edition copy of The White House (1962), signed by John F. Kennedy, who adds an inscription to the British Prime Minister.

He writes in full: “Prime Minister Harold MacMillan, with friendship and high esteem, John Kennedy”. Slight toning, and a couple of scuffs, otherwise in fine condition. Apparently retained by a White House official, when the President wrote the inscription, and had difficulty with the spelling of “MacMillan”.

A superb association piece linking two world leaders.
