Churchill, Clementine (1885 – 1977)

A good typed letter signed ‘Clementine S. Churchill’, 28 Hyde Park Gate letterhead, February 15th 1965. A letter to Mr. Oates, in full: ‘I was so glad to have your letter and your sympathy at this time is a comfort to me. Thank you so much for writing.’

In fine condition, with some light creasing in the blank areas. Sir Winston Churchill suffered a fatal stroke on January 12th 1965, and died twelve days later on the 24th.
