Brunel, Isambard Kingdom (1806 – 1859)

A fine autograph letter signed by Brunel, ‘I. K. Brunel’, Great Western Railway letterhead, May 12th 1837. Brunel writes to C.W. Stevens Esquire — address panel to the adjoining page.

In full, ‘My dear Sir, The statement of Mr. White requesting an arrangement with us as to Mr. Cholmeley’s kind is quite correct. I am very dear sir, Yours very truly, I.K. Brunel’.

Written during the later stages of the construction of the Clifton Suspension Bridge. In fine condition, with usual letter folds.
