An autograph statement by F.W. Aston, the English chemist and physicist who won the 1922 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
He writes, in full, on a 2″ X 8″ sheet ‘Search for knowledge is its own reward, but in providing honour, encouragement and means to carry it on the Nobel Foundation serves the cause of all humanity, F.W. Aston.’ The scientist adds the date, May 9th 1940.
